BREAKDOWN ON THE TRANSACTION PROCESS ON THE READYCASH APP

i. Send Money: This option is used to transfer
money from the ReadyCash wallet to external
channels. From the ReadyCash app, an agent can
transfer money to another ReadyCash agent, to a
customer’s bank account and to another Mobile
Money Operator (MMO)
✓ To Phone Number/Agent: An agent can
transfer money to another Readycash agent by
following the steps below;
*Click on Transactions
*Select “Send Money”
*Select “Phone Number/Agent”
TRANSACTIONS ON THE READYCASH APP
❖ Enter Amount
❖ Enter Agent ID
❖ Click on “Next”
❖ Verify the name on the confirmation page to be the ReadyCash
Agent Business Name
❖ Use the 4-digits pin and click on “TRANSFER TO
CUSTOMER”
❖ If successful, a pop-up notification is displayed on the screen and
the agent’s wallet is debited with the amount entered and the
recipient’s wallet is credited with the amount.
THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR AGENT TO AGENT WALLETTRANSFER
✓ To Bank:(Commercial banks)
• Click on Transactions
• Select “Send Money”
• Select ‘Commercial Bank”
• Input depositor’s phone number and
account number
• Amount
• Agent fee(optional)
• Select a bank
• Add custom narration (optional)
• Click next
• Verify the customer bank account details
from the confirmation page
• Use the 4-digit transaction pin and click on
“Send Money To Bank” to complete transactions
✓ To send money to microfinance Bank:
❖ Click on Transactions
❖ Select “Send Money”
❖ Select “Micro-Finance Bank”
❖ Scroll up or search for a bank to select the destination’s bank from the list
❖ Enter the following: i. Depositor’s Phone Number
ii. Account Number
iii. Amount
iv. Agent Fee (Optional)
Add custom narration (optional)
❖ Click next
❖ Verify the customer bank account details from the confirmation page
❖ Use the 4-digit transaction pin and click on “Send Money To Bank” to complete transactions
✓ To send money other MMO:
❖ Click on Transactions
❖ Select “Send Money”
❖ Select ‘Other MMO”
❖ Select the preferred destination bank by scrolling up
or using the search bar
❖ Enter the phone number
❖ Enter the Account number
❖ Enter the Amount
❖ Agent Fee(optional)
❖ Add custom narration (optional)
❖ Click ‘Next”
❖ Verify the customer bank account details from the
confirmation page
❖ Use the 4-digit transaction pin and click on “Send
Money To Bank” to complete transactions.
TRANSACTIONS ON THE READYCASH APP
N.B:
✓ Add Custom Narration: The agent can click
this option if they wish to enter a description for
transfer.
✓ Agent Fee: Agent can enter a certain amount that
would be transferred to their commission after
completion of the transaction.
ii. Withdraw Money:
✓ READYCASH CASHOUT: To Cash-Out to an unregistered
customer; This option is for claiming of money sent to an
Unregistered customer as discussed on the send money option.
The money transferred is claimed on the ReadyCash Agent App.
To Cash-Out to an unregistered customer, a registered customer must
have transferred money and provided the transaction code tied to the
transaction to the unregistered customer.
❖ Unregistered customer presents transaction code to Agent
❖ Click on “Transactions” and select “withdraw money” on your
Agent application menu and select ‘Ready Cash’
❖ Agent enters amount, customer’s phone number and voucher
number, clicks ‘Next” and use the 4-digits transaction pin to
complete transaction
❖ If successful, Agent’s wallet is credited and Agent receive
❖ Agent presents cash to the Customer
✓ M-CASH:
❖ Customer would dial *402*10032003*1000# on the phone
tied to their BVN and follow the prompts.
❖ When the transaction is successful they would receive an
SMS and present the SMS to the agent.
❖ The agent will enter the ref number as voucher, the phone
number of the customer and the amount.
❖ Then pay the customer cash after the transaction is
successful.
❖ Agent selects the withdraw option from the transaction menu
❖ Agent inputs the amount, customer phone number and
Voucher (Ref No)
❖ Transaction is confirmed and Agents enters the pin.

✓ THE USSD CASHOUT GIVES
THE SAME FEATURE AS THE USSD ICON ON THE HOME
SCREEN OF THE APP
✓ USSD: The USSD feature allows agents without the withdrawal
devices (POS terminals or PINPADs) to initiate withdrawal
transactions for customers
❖ Click on USSD on your dashboard and select the USSD
Cashout option
❖ Enter the amount to be withdrawn
❖ Click on the drop-down arrow to select customer bank and
click next
❖ The USSD code will pop up on your screen. The customer is to
to dial the code before the countdown reaches 0
❖ The customer will be prompted for to enter the pin to validate
the transaction and the agent is credited upon a successful
transaction.
USSD:
✓ USSD Transaction History: Receipts of all USSD transactions
initiated can be found in the USSD Transactions History
The charges for the USSD option are: 40 for every 5,000 capped at
N240
500 - 5,000 = 40
5,001 - 10,000 = 80
10,001 - 15,000 = 120
15001 - 20,000 = 160
20,001 - 25,000 = 200
Above 25,001 = 240
✓ RECHARGE: This feature allows agents to purchase
airtime for customers:
❖ Click on “Transaction”
❖ Click on ‘Recharge”
❖ Enter destination phone number
❖ Select the network provider
❖ Enter the amount
❖ Click “Next”
❖ Use the 4-digit transaction pin and click on “Recharge”
to complete the transaction
✓ PAY BILLS
i. To pay for DSTV, GOtv, StarTimes etc;
❖ Customer presents smartcard no, product, amount in cash and
his Phone Number to Agent
❖ Click on Transactions on your Agent application menu and
select ‘Pay Bills’ option
❖ Select the Cable Tv and select the subscription the customer
wants to pay for
❖ Agent fills the Smartcard no, customer’s Phone Number and
clicks “Next”
❖ On the confirmation page, let the customer confirm the
information displayed is correct before selecting ‘Ok’ to proceed
❖ If successful, Agent’s wallet is debited with the amount entered
❖ Depositor receives SMS notification of the transaction
ii. To pay for Utility Bill i.e. EKDC, EEDC:
❖ Customer presents Meter no, Product, Amount in cash
and his phone number to Agent
❖ Click on Transactions on your Agent application menu
and select ‘Pay Bills’ option
❖ Select the Disco the customer wants to pay for
❖ Agent fills the Meter no, Amount, Customer’s Phone
number, and click ‘
❖ On the confirmation page, let the customer confirm the
information displayed is correct before
❖ selecting ‘Ok’ to proceed
❖ If successful, Agent’s wallet is debited with the amount
entered.
❖ Depositor receives SMS notification of the transaction
iii. For Internet Payment.
❖ Customer presents User ID, Amount in cash and
❖ his phone number to Agent
❖ Click on Transactions on your Agent application menu and
select ‘Pay Bills’ option
❖ Select the preferred data plan.
❖ Agent enters the Phone number for data
❖ On the confirmation page, let the customer
❖ confirm the information displayed is correct before selecting
‘Ok’ to proceed
❖ If successful, Agent’s wallet is debited with the amount
entered
❖ Depositor receives SMS notification of the transaction
✓ PAY MERCHANT:
❖ Click on “Transactions” and select “Pay Merchant”
on your Agent application menu and select the
merchant
❖ Enter the customer’s number as the subscriber’s ID
and the Customer’s Phone number and submit.
❖ On the confirmation page, let the customer confirm
information displayed is correct and then select ‘Ok’
to proceed.
❖ If successful, Agent’s wallet is debited.
❖ Depositor and Merchant is notified of the transaction
via SMS notification.
