BVN Enrollment FAQs


1. How can I enroll BVN through your platform?

To become a BVN enrollment agent with us, you must first register as a ReadyCash agent. Follow these steps:

Download the ReadyCash app from the Google Play Store and sign up.

Fill out the BVN enrollment registration form using this link: BVN Enrollment Form.

Ensure all details provided are accurate.

Once submitted, you will receive feedback within 24 hours


2. What documents and tools do I need for BVN enrollment?

To carry out BVN enrollment, you will need the following:

Enrollee valid government issued ID (e.g., NIN, International Passport, Driver’s License, or Voter’s Card)

The BVN enrollment form (to capture enrollee information)

A fingerprint scanner to capture the enrollee’s unique biometric data

Please ensure the name on the ID matches the name to be linked with the BVN.


3. How long does BVN enrollment take?

The actual enrollment process takes less than 10 minutes. However, BVN issuance and confirmation may take 24 to 72 hours, depending on system performance and verification timelines with NIBSS.

4. I enrolled but haven’t received enrollment status. What should I do?

If it’s been more than 72 hours since enrollment and you haven’t received enrollment status, please contact our support team. We’ll help check the status and escalate to NIBSS if needed.

 

5. Can someone enroll for BVN more than once?

No, BVN enrollment is a one-time process per individual. If someone has already been enrolled, there is no need to register again. To retrieve an existing BVN, the person can dial *5650# from their registered phone number or contact our support team for assistance.


6. What should I do if I made a mistake during BVN enrollment?

If you made an error during enrollment (e.g., name, date of birth, or other personal details), please contact our support team. You will be required to provide the following:

The incorrect and correct details

A valid government-issued ID

An affidavit stating the correction to be made

Our team will escalate the request to NIBSS for necessary updates.

7. How will I know if a BVN has been successfully generated after enrollment?

Once the BVN is generated, it will be displayed on the enrollment app. You can also confirm the status by dialing *5650# from the registered phone number. You can contact our support team if you need any assistance.

 

8. Is there a fee for BVN enrollment?

BVN enrollment is free.

 

9. Can I complete BVN enrollment on behalf of someone who is not present?

No, BVN enrollment cannot be done by proxy. Since it involves capturing biometric data such as fingerprints and a live photo, the enrollee must be physically present at the point of enrollment.


10. Is BVN enrollment available outside Nigeria?

Yes, Nigerians living abroad can enroll for BVN at selected Nigerian embassies or partner bank branches approved by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). However, this service is currently not available through our platform. We will provide updates once it becomes accessible.
